MORAL DECADENCE

Moral Decadence by Magna Oladapo Esther Omolade.

    📍It's a painful thing to behold that in this new era/age we found ourselves that "morality" has lost it essence and value,the world is gradually shifting from traditional ethics as we now adopt a new name for some barbaric attitudes all in the name of trends, fashion, civilisation and normalisation, the mentality of people towards this subject matter will always make me curious about what is really going on in the world of today.

       📍Virtues like honesty, patience, Decency, purity obedience,diligence, faithfulness, humility and respect has now been a thing of disgust especially to the youth of this Age as those that still exhibit these virtues are termed as "fools" or "savage "

     📍 Moral decadence has caused so much caos and ruckus in general administration of communities and societies. The values that are instill in young ones is not what can make a nation strive, we always complain about bad leadership but we didn't take to cognizance that our leaders are the reflection of who we are and the kind of value upheld by society determine the type of leader such society produces. The young ones are leaders of tomorrow but when there is no iota of morality in them what will become of such nation? 

      📍 In governance, politics, education there is no display of of rightful act as everybody want to join this vehicle of "trends" .

   Morality goes beyond religion,as region is just a platform that should help us shape our character and help us through doctrine and commandments to be the best of ourselves,but it a pity that those people that call themselves "pious" and "servant of most high" have also missed it, everybody now place important on the "service" and neglect the pragmatic reflection of what religion was suppose to address.

      📍My admonition to everyone is that ,let maintain the status quo ,let hold on to the truth we know, hold on the fundamental legacy ,let people know you for who you are . Ethical statement like honesty is the best legacy, patience is virtue ,self discipline is key to success, integrity is the soundness of moral character.....and so on , they are all still valid and they are not outdated.

     📍 You may not be there when people attest to your moral stance and when they will reference you because you are distinct for your integrity.

   📌 In this current age where moral decadence has found root, dare to be different .
